How to disable whatsapp message read receipts

Follow this steps to prevent your whatsapp contacts from knowing when you read their message.

Step 1 - Click on the three dots at the right top of your phone's screen

 Step 2- Click on settings

 Step 3- click on Account

 Step 4- Click on Privacy

Step 5- Untick the Read receipts

Note- if you dissable this function, your whatsapp contacts will be prevented from knowing when you read their message(s) and you will also not be able to know when they read your message(s)..

Samething applicable to whatsapp status
